Arduino step motor is a great way to add motion control to your projects. It's simple to set up and can be used in a variety of applications. Step motors are electric motors that are geared down to provide smaller power for a larger rotation. In this article, we will look at a simple example of how to use an Arduino step motor and how it can be used in your projects.

Step motor 28BJY-48 is one of the famous motor used in Arduino projects and it comes with its driver.

The motor required voltage is 5V. You have to provide it from external power source and never power it from Arduino 5V out as it could damage your Arduino. Here I used LM7805 to provide this, with using 9V battery. Of course you can do it, differently, the key point is it should equal 5 Volts. 4 inputs of the driver connected to 8,9,10,11 th pins of Arduino.
