In this short tutorial I will explain how you can create create cursor in 16x2 Matrix LCD.

There are actually two ways of creating this.

First way of using simple delay function.

#include <LiquidCrystal_I2C.h>


LiquidCrystal_I2C lcd(0x27,16,2);  // set the LCD address to 0x27

void setup(){
  lcd.init(); // initialize the lcd
  lcd.backlight();// turn on the backlight
}

void loop(){
  	updateScreen();
}	

void updateScreen() {
 lcd.cursor();
 delay (1000);
 lcd.noCursor();
 delay (1000);
}

Second way is using, millis() function which calculates the how many seconds are passed since the program started.

     lcd.noCursor();
